For chambers of commerce and community organizations

Give your businesses a shop-local campaign without asking them to fund it.

Built for chambers of commerce, Main Street and downtown associations, business improvement districts, CVBs and community foundations. You bring together the participating businesses, local causes, and sponsor. GivePass provides the campaign platform, printed signs, participant experience, and reporting.

In most campaigns this costs your organization nothing. The sponsor funds the pool and pays the campaign fee, and you operate under your own name. If you would rather run the campaign yourself and bring your own funders, that works too — and then the fee is yours.

A program for your community

Support businesses, causes, and community participation in one campaign.

GivePass gives people a reason to visit participating businesses while directing sponsor funds to local causes. Businesses join without paying a participation fee, offering a required discount, or changing what staff do at the counter.

The division of responsibilities

A clear role for each partner.

The local organization owns the relationships. GivePass supplies the infrastructure that makes the campaign easier to operate and report.

Finding a sponsor

Usually it is an organization that already needs to show up in your town: a bank or credit union, a health system, a university, or a large local employer. One campaign can also be funded by several of them together — the pool belongs to the campaign, not to any one funder.

Bring us a prospect and we will help you make the case, or send them the sponsor page.

What you receive

Answer the question your board asks: what did our work make possible?

At close you receive a campaign report documenting participation, verified visits, participating business locations, milestone engagement, dollars directed, and settlement status. It carries your organization's name alongside the sponsor, so what you can show your members is a record rather than an anecdote.

The console you would run

Everything the campaign needs, in one place.

Add participating businesses, print counter signs, keep an eye on visits, and pull the report your board will read. GivePass handles the platform so your team can stay focused on the relationships.

The four jobs running a campaign involves. Open one for what the console actually does at that step. Fairhaven is an example community, not a customer.

Local relationships matter

Technology cannot recruit Main Street from a distance.

Successful campaigns depend on an organization that knows the businesses, causes, and people involved. Your local relationships make participation possible. GivePass turns that work into a campaign people can join and results you can document.

Bring us your town and we will walk the campaign.

Tell us about your organization, the businesses you serve, and anyone who might fund it. We will walk through the campaign structure, what you would be responsible for, and what a first season could look like — and you do not need a sponsor lined up to have the conversation.
